Job Description:

The role of a Qualified Dentist is pivotal in delivering exceptional dental care services. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of dental treatments, maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice, and ensuring the utmost in patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care: Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
  2. Treatment Planning: Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients. Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as preventive dental care, oral health maintenance, and dental procedures.
  3. Clinical Standards: Ensure the highest standards of clinical governance and risk management. Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of dental professionals, including dental hygienists and dental nurses, to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  5. Practice Management: Maintain accurate and detailed dental records. Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the practice.
  6. Patient Communication: Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring experience. Address patients’ questions and concerns regarding dental procedures.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent.
  • Valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and indemnity insurance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proficiency in a variety of dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and at different locations, if

required.
